Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
PlankFall is built around a simple promise: the game runs on your device, and your data stays there. This policy explains what that means in practice.
Information we collect
None that leaves your device. PlankFall has no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service, and no third-party trackers of any kind. We do not have a server that receives data from the app.
Information stored on your device
To make the game work, the app stores the following locally using Apple's standard UserDefaults mechanism:
- Your current level number and overall progress.
- Your settings (sound, haptics, theme, color-scheme preference).
- Your power-up inventory and daily-bonus streak state.
- An in-progress level snapshot, so you can resume after closing the app.
This data is declared in the app's PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest under reason code CA92.1 — "data stored in the same app."
Game Center
If you sign in to Apple's Game Center, achievements and leaderboard scores you choose to publish are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. PlankFall reports those events to Game Center but does not see or store your Apple ID.
iCloud
If iCloud Drive is enabled on your device, iOS may back up the app's local storage as part of a normal device backup. That backup is governed by your iCloud settings and Apple's privacy policy, not ours.
Children
PlankFall is rated 4+. The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If anything in this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version at this URL before the change takes effect in a shipping app.
